Newmarket is committed to changing homelessness and addiction in Boston by providing jobs and resources will be participating in #GivingTuesday on November 27, 2018!
Our pilot program “Back2Work” offers homeless individuals an opportunity to work. The programs main goal is to restore self sufficiency and dignity to individuals as well as keeping our streets clean and free of trash and needles.
The pilot has resulted in thousands of needles safely disposed of , cleaner sidewalks, and public areas. More importantly it has proven that individuals on the street are willing to work to overcome the hardships that they are facing.
With your help we will be able to employ more homeless individuals daily. In addition to providing jobs, we also work closely with our partners to assist in obtaining:
¨ Better healthcare/addiction treatment
¨ Permanent employment
¨ Supportive housing
